Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Third straight win
Jarry made 34 saves in a 5-4 overtime win over the Panthers on Tuesday.
Don't look now, but Jarry has won three straight games. He has now beaten the Canucks, Bruins and Panthers while allowing nine goals in that span. Overall, his 3.88 GAA and .884 save percentage are rather ugly, but if he can keep this solid play going, Jarry could return to fantasy relevance.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: In blue paint versus Florida
Jarry will patrol the home crease Tuesday against the Panthers, per Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Jarry is coming off his best win of the season -- he turned aside 30 of 31 shots in Friday's 2-1 victory over Boston. It was the first time in 2024-25 that Jarry has allowed less than three goals in a game. The 29-year-old will have a tough assignment Tuesday against a Panthers club that sits fifth in the NHL with 3.64 goals per game through 25 contests.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Wins with strong performance
Jarry stopped 31 of 32 shots in Friday's 2-1 win over the Bruins.
Jarry looked sharp in this one, though the Bruins' low-scoring tendencies likely helped his cause a bit. This was Jarry's second win in a row and the first time in eight appearances he's given up fewer than three goals. The 29-year-old is at a 3-3-1 record with a 3.88 GAA and an .881 save percentage this season. Jarry has started four of the last five games, but it'll likely be Alex Nedeljkovic between the pipes for Saturday's home matchup with the Flames.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Set to face Boston
Jarry is expected to start on the road against Boston on Friday.
Jarry has a 2-3-1 record, 4.34 GAA and .868 save percentage in seven appearances in 2024-25. He's allowed at least three goals in each of those seven outings. Perhaps he'll get a better result against the Bruins, who rank 31st offensively with just 2.38 goals per game.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Bends but doesn't break
Jarry stopped 25 of 29 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 victory over the Canucks.
Jarry registered just his second win of the season and first since Oct. 14. The Canucks almost pulled off the comeback after trailing 5-1 in the middle frame, but Jarry did just enough to help Pittsburgh snap its three-game losing streak. The 29-year-old is 1-2-1 and has conceded 15 goals on 131 shots over four appearances since returning from a conditioning stint with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Overall, the British Columbia native is up to a 2-3-1 record, .868 save percentage and 4.34 GAA through seven outings.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Slated to start
Jarry is expected to start in Wednesday's home tilt versus Vancouver, per Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.
Jarry has had a rough campaign with a record of 1-3-1 to go along with a 4.41 GAA and an .869 save percentage in six appearances. He's surrendered at least three goals in each of his six outings in 2024-25. Vancouver ranks 14th in the league offensively with 3.15 goals per game.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Stuck with another loss
Jarry gave up three goals on 29 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Jets. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Jarry couldn't stop a Nino Niederreiter shot early in the first period, and he allowed a goal in each frame to take his third straight loss since returning from a conditioning stint. His last two efforts have at least been in the range of respectable, but he's yet to allow fewer than three goals in a game, and that's often a mark the Penguins can't cover -- the team has scored at least three goals in just four of 10 contests in November. Jarry is now 1-3-1 with a 4.41 GAA and an .869 save percentage through six starts. Alex Nedeljkovic will likely get the nod Saturday versus Utah.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Between pipes Friday
Jarry will defend the home crease versus Winnipeg on Friday, according to Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff.
Jarry will make his second straight start and third in the last four games as Alex Nedeljkovic will once again watch from the bench. It has not been a good season at the NHL level for Jarry as he is 1-2-1 with a 4.72 GAA and an .863 save percentage in five appearances. It won't get any easier Friday as Jarry will face the Jets, who are the best team in the NHL with a 16-3-0 record.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Struggles continue
Jarry allowed three goals in a 3-2 overtime loss to Calgary on Tuesday.
Jarry has allowed at least three goals in each of his five starts this season and is 1-2-1 with a 4.72 goals-against average and an .863 save percentage overall. He was especially bad on the OT winner where he slid far out of his crease, allowing Brayden Point to simply walk around the net and stuff the puck behind him. Jarry recently returned from a stint in the AHL, but he continues to struggle. Bench him until he can get his game together.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: In goal Tuesday
Jarry will tend twine versus Tampa Bay on Tuesday, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff relays.
Jarry will make his fifth appearance of the season Tuesday. The 29-year-old had a rough outing in his return from a conditioning stint Friday -- he allowed five goals in a loss to Columbus. With Alex Nedeljkovic struggling, Jarry could have a chance to reclaim the No. 1 role between the pipes. Jarry will face a Lightning club putting up 3.56 goals per game through 16 contests.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Gives up five goals Friday
Jarry stopped 33 of 38 shots in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. The sixth goal was an empty-netter in the third period.
Jarry was making his first appearance for the Penguins since Oct. 16, when he gave up three goals on five shots before being pulled just past the midway mark of the first period versus Buffalo. Friday's performance probably didn't go the way he would've wanted, either. Even though Jarry gained some confidence following a two-week stint in the minors with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, his struggles at the NHL level are too evident to overlook. Through four outings this season, Jarry has gone 1-2-0 with a 5.37 GAA and a woeful .847 save percentage.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: First off ice Friday
Jarry was the first goaltender off the ice at morning practice, indicating he will be between the visiting pipes in Columbus on Friday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Jarry will make his first start with the Penguins since Oct. 16 when he gave up three goals on five shots before he was pulled just past the midway mark of the first period versus Buffalo. Jarry was sent to the minors on a two-week conditioning stint shortly thereafter and regained some confidence, going 4-1-0 with a 2.16 GAA and a .926 save percentage with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Jarry will face the Blue Jackets, who are averaging 3.07 goals per game over 15 matchups this season.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Recalled from conditioning stint
Jarry was recalled from his conditioning stint at AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday.
Jarry spent the full two weeks with the Baby Pens, going 4-1-0 with a 2.16 GAA and a .926 save percentage. He could have his confidence back, as he allowed 12 goals on 73 shots in three NHL appearances before his demotion. For now, Jarry will be the third goaltender, Alex Nedeljkovic is No. 1 and Joel Blomqvist is holding onto the backup role.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Sent to the minors
Jarry was reassigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on a conditioning loan Saturday.
The temporary demotion comes as a bit of a surprise as the Penguins only gave Jarry three games this campaign after he was the team's No. 1 goaltender the past three seasons. Granted, Jarry got off to a horrible start, giving up 12 goals on 73 shots (.836 save percentage), but the Penguins can't afford to be patient with him following a 3-5-1 to start to 2024-25. Pittsburgh will rely on Alex Nedeljkovic and Joel Blomqvist in Jarry's absence.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Not on road trip
Jarry is back in Pittsburgh to work on his form, Josh Yohe of The Athletic reports Thursday.
Jarry went 1-1-0 with 12 goals allowed on 73 shots (.836 save percentage) over his first three games of the year. With the 29-year-old back in Pittsburgh, it's safe to say he won't play Friday in Edmonton or Saturday in Vancouver, but he could get a chance to get back on track as soon as Tuesday's game versus the Wild. Jarry will have his work cut out for him in regards to regaining playing time, as the Penguins still have Alex Nedeljkovic and Joel Blomqvist on the NHL roster.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Gets early hook Wednesday
Jarry gave up three goals on five shots before being replaced by Joel Blomqvist midway through the first period in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Sabres.
The Penguins were able to climb out of the hole their starting goalie dug for them, but the tone for his performance was set when Tage Thompson scored on a wraparound 43 seconds into the game after Jarry misplayed the puck behind the net. The 29-year-old has an ugly 5.45 GAA and .833 save percentage through his first three appearances this season, and while a trade seems unlikely given the three years and $16.125 million left on his contract after 2024-25, Jarry's role could be in jeopardy -- especially once Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) returns from IR.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: First goalie off Wednesday
Jarry was the first goalie to leave the ice Wednesday, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Buffalo.
Jarry was fairly steady in his last start, stopping 24 of 27 shots (.889 save percentage) in a winning effort over the Habs on Monday. Still, it's been a less-than-stellar start to the year for the 29-year-old netminder. If he stumbles against the Sabres, it could open the door for Joel Blomqvist to get the nod versus Carolina on Friday. Jarry's hold on the No. 1 job will become even more tenuous once Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) returns to action.

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Rebounds for win
Jarry stopped 24 of 27 shots in Monday's 6-3 win over the Canadiens.
Jarry picked up his first win of the season after a disappointing 6-0 loss to the Rangers on Opening Night. He sat out the next two games due to the poor performance and will need a consistent stretch of play to earn back his status as the team's primary goalie. Per Josh Yohe of The Athletic, there is an open competition for playing time. Jarry and Joel Blomqvist will anchor the crease for now and could soon be joined by Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body).

Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Exits ice first Monday
Jarry was the first goalie to leave the ice Monday, Josh Yohe of The Athletic reports, indicating he'll defend the cage on the road versus Montreal.
Jarry was disappointing in the season opener against the Rangers, giving up six goals on 40 shots (.850 save percentage). It led to the 29-year-old netminder sitting out for the Penguins' last two contests in favor of youngster Joel Blomqvist. At this point, Jarry's hold on the No. 1 job should be considered tenuous at best, especially once Alex Nedeljkovic (lower body) is cleared to return.
