Stars' Tyler Seguin: Two more points Friday
Seguin scored a power-play goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Seguin has a pair of multi-point efforts over his last three games. His tally Friday was his first power-play point since Nov. 13. The 32-year-old forward is up to nine goals, 20 points (three on the power play), 43 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 18 appearances. Seguin is likely to miss one of the next two games (Sunday versus Winnipeg or Monday at Utah) due to a lingering lower-body injury, but that would be the only expected absence for the forward over the next six weeks, so fantasy managers should be comfortable rolling him out there outside of back-to-back situations.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Two-point effort in loss
Seguin produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.
The 32-year-old opened the scoring just 18 seconds into the game after Mason Marchment's attempted between-the-legs shot slipped off his stick and turned into an unintentional pass. Seguin has gotten onto the scoresheet in six of the last seven games, and through 16 appearances this season, he's racked up an impressive eight goals and 18 points as he turns back the clock. He has scored more than 20 goals in each of the last three seasons, but Seguin hasn't come close to a point-a-game pace since 2018-19.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Posts helper in win
Seguin logged an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.
Seguin saw a four-game point streak end Wednesday versus the Sharks before he bounced back Saturday. The 32-year-old set up Matt Duchene's go-ahead goal in the third period, which stood as the game-winner. Seguin continues to impress from the second line with seven goals, nine helpers, 35 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 15 appearances. He should be good to play in four of the next five games, but a back-to-back Dec. 1 versus the Jets and Dec. 2 against Utah will likely lead to Seguin sitting out a game for injury management purposes as he navigates a lingering lower-body issue.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Pockets assist Saturday
Seguin notched an assist and five shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Wild.

He's added 30 shots on net and a plus-11 rating. The Stars' offense can be dynamic, but it's the trio of Seguin, Mason Marchment and Matt Duchene that's led the charge recently.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Crosses 800-point mark in career
Seguin provided two assists and six shots on goal in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Bruins.

He's picked up two goals and two assists over his last four games and now has 13 points, 25 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 11 appearances this season. Seguin continues to be strong in a second-line role alongside Matt Duchene and Mason Marchment.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Finds twine on power play
Seguin scored a power-play goal on two shots in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Seguin has scored in two of the last three games. The 32-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 11 points, 19 shots on net and a plus-9 rating over 10 outings as part of the Stars' second line, which has somewhat frequently looked like the best trio for the team. While he's managing a lower-body injury that could keep him out of games during back-to-back sets, Seguin looks like a must-play option when he's able to suit up.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Scores game-winner Thursday
Seguin scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Seguin's goal midway through the second period ended up being the game-winner. The 32-year-old was hampered by a lower-body injury during the Stars' trip to Finland, with the injury particularly flaring up in the second half of back-to-back sets. As such, don't expect Seguin to play in every game the rest of the way, though he should have a good stretch of availability ahead as long as the issue doesn't get worse -- the Stars' next back-to-back is at the start of December, but it's the only one they have for the remainder of the calendar year. Through eight outings, Seguin has produced six goals, four assists, 14 shots on net and a plus-9 rating while filling a second-line role when healthy enough to play.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Expected to play Thursday
Seguin (lower body) is expected to play Thursday against Chicago, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports.
Seguin was unavailable Saturday against the Panthers due to a lower-body injury, and he may be dealing with the lingering issue for most of the year. However, he practiced Tuesday and should be able to return to game action Thursday. Seguin's injury will likely impact his availability in back-to-back sets, which the Stars don't play in until the start of December. While the team's medical staff will likely continue to monitor Seguin's health, it's encouraging that he'll be able to play through his ailment for now.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Lights lamp in return
Seguin scored his third goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres.
The veteran center missed the prior three games with a lower-body injury, but Seguin handled a regular shift in his return and gave the Stars a flicker of life late in the third period when he snapped home a loose puck to make the score 3-2. He's had a productive start to the season, collecting four points in four appearances, but Seguin hasn't been close to a point-per-game player over a full campaign since 2018-19.

Head coach Peter DeBoer said Monday that Seguin (lower body) will travel with the Stars for their road trip that begins Tuesday in Buffalo, Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest reports.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Unavailable for Saturday
Seguin (lower body) won't play Saturday versus Edmonton, per Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News on Friday.
It will be Seguin's third consecutive game on the shelf. He was off to a great start before the injury, scoring two goals and three points across three appearances in 2024-25. Seguin's continued absence is likely to result in Evgenii Dadonov staying on the second power-play unit for now.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Won't play Thursday
Seguin (lower body) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Capitals and is considered day-to-day.
Seguin saw at least 14 minutes of ice time in each of his first three appearances of the season, but he's dealing with a lower-body injury that will force him to miss a second consecutive game. However, it doesn't appear as though the Stars expect him to miss significant time since he's labeled as day-to-day. His next chance to suit up will be at home against the Oilers on Saturday.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Unavailable Tuesday
Seguin (lower body) won't play Tuesday against San Jose, according to Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports.
Seguin is considered day-to-day after tweaking something in his lower-body area, but the injury probably won't keep him out for an extended period. He has generated two goals, one assist and four shots on net in three outings this campaign. Mavrik Bourque (undisclosed) will replace Seguin in Tuesday's lineup.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Scores twice in shutout win
Seguin scored two goals in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Islanders. The second goal was an empty-netter with 1:03 left in the third period.
Seguin opened the scoring for the Stars with a wrist shot midway through the first period, and the veteran closed out the scoring with an empty-netter in the dying stages of the final frame when the Islanders were all out on the attack. Seguin is not the player he once was and no longer approaches the 80-point mark on a yearly basis, but he should be a consistent performer in one of the league's best offenses, which should give him a decent opportunity to keep producing after recording 52 points in just 68 regular-season contests in 2023-24.

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Sets up game-winner
Seguin notched an assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Predators.
Seguin set up linemate Mason Marchment on the game-winning goal, which was scored at 18:15 of the second period. Along with center Matt Duchene, Seguin and Marchment form a strong second line for a deep Dallas forward group. Last year was Seguin's most productive since 2018-19 -- he produced 52 points in just 68 regular-season contests. The 32-year-old is no longer an 80-point threat annually, but he's an effective depth forward with modest physicality for fantasy purposes.
