Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Catches 66 passes this season
Douglas finished the 2024 regular season with 66 catches (on 87 targets) for 621 yards and three TDs in 17 games.
Douglas, who also recorded three carries for 16 yards, ended up tied with tight end Hunter Henry for the team lead in catches during the Patriots' 4-13 season. Looking ahead, Douglas is poised to maintain his key role in the team's offense in 2025, and working with ascending young QB Drake Maye should provide the 2023 sixth-rounder with a decent weekly fantasy floor in PPR formats next season.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Finds end zone in loss
Douglas caught four passes for 46 yards and one touchdown on five targets in Saturday's 40-7 loss to the Chargers.
Douglas' best catch was a 36-yard touchdown where Drake Maye found him in the end zone on a free penalty play. Douglas' other four targets produced only 10 yards, a reflection of the overall struggles facing the Patriots offense, but Douglas has made clear by this point that he's a quality wideout and one the Patriots would probably do well to feature more consistently, even if it means giving Douglas more snaps in two-wide sets. As long as the Patriots insist on giving Douglas snaps in only three-wide formations, there will be a hard cap on his fantasy upside, despite his apparent talents otherwise. Douglas and the Patriots take on the Bills in Week 18.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Four catches in loss
Douglas recorded four receptions on five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.
Douglas played a complementary role in the loss, with both Kayshon Boutte and Hunter Henry enjoying more production and earning more targets. After seeing at least five targets in seven of New England's first 12 games, he's failed to hit that mark in three straight contests. Given his lack of explosive ability, that makes Douglas tough to trust down the stretch in matchups against the Chargers and Bills.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Cashes in short TD on Sunday
Douglas hauled in all three of his targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-17 loss to Arizona.
Douglas came out of New England's bye week in good health and rewarded deep-league managers with his second touchdown of the season. The sophomore starter has quietly provided value for those in PPR formats with a 55-508-2 receiving line through 14 games. With his ankle injury in the rearview mirror, Douglas remains serviceable to those in the aforementioned formats against the Bills next Sunday.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Catches four passes Sunday
Douglas logged 45 of a possible 72 snaps on offense in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Colts, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, en route to catching all four of his targets in the contest for 20 yards.
Douglas approached the contest listed as questionable, but played through the ankle issue that had limited him at practice. With the Patriots on bye in Week 14, Douglas may be able to avoid the team's Week 15 injury report. Either way, he figures to maintain enough volume down the stretch to merit lineup attention in PPR formats.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Active versus Colts
Douglas (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts.
After being deemed a limited participant on all three of New England's practice reports this week, Douglas headed into the weekend listed as questionable. With his active status confirmed, the 2023 sixth-rounder -- who tops New England's WR corps in catches (48), receiving yards (477) and targets (66) -- will have an opportunity to remain a key target for QB Drake Maye, which puts the wideout on the Week 13 PPR radar. Over his last four contests, Douglas has combined for 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 206 yards.

Patriots' DeMario Douglas: Likely to play Sunday
Douglas (ankle) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Colts, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Douglas was listed as a limited participant on all three of the Patriots' practice reports this week, but the team is apparently confident that he'll be able to play through the ankle issue Sunday. Official confirmation on Douglas' status will arrive when New England releases its inactive list around 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Since Drake Maye took over as the Patriots' starting quarterback beginning in Week 6, Douglas has produced a 30-324-1 receiving line on 42 targets in seven contests.
