Patriots' Jake Andrews: Should be ready for 2025
Andrews (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of OTAs next offseason, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Andrews never suited up this season and was placed on the active/PUP list after training camp began, then moved to IR in August. The Troy product was expected to be New England's starting center this season, but it sounds like he'll have the opportunity to take back that role in 2025.

Patriots' Jake Andrews: Done for the year
The Patriots placed Andrews (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday, ending his 2024 season.
Andrews began training camp on the active/PUP list, and he ultimately didn't get a chance to practice before being shut down with an undisclosed injury. In the wake of this transaction, veteran David Andrews figures to step up as New England's starting center, and the team's depth grows thinner along the interior of the offensive line.

Patriots' Jake Andrews: Put on PUP list
Andrews (undisclosed) was placed on New England's active/PUP list Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.
The Patriots are now shorthanded on the interior of their offensive line for the start of training camp, as both Andrews and Cole Strange (knee) are now on the PUP list. Once healthy, the 2023 fourth-round pick will have an opportunity to compete for the starting center job.
