Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Makes three grabs Sunday
Bateman had three catches for 40 yards on four targets in Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Raiders.
Bateman has nwo played over 80 percent of the snaps in the Ravens' first two games of the season and has drawn at least four targets in both outings. He is up to seven catches for 93 yards on nine targets, good for a 10.3 YPT. Baltimore has the sixth-most pass attempts in the league through two weeks, and with Bateman's lofty snap share, he could start to capitalize on his opportunities soon.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Lightly used Thursday night
Bateman caught two passes for 53 yards on five targets in Thursday's loss to the Chiefs.
Bateman was on the field for 84 percent of the snaps Thursday but finished fourth on the team in targets. The Ravens threw an uncharacteristic 41 times, something that in all likelihood won't happen too often this season, and he still could not draw Lamar Jackson's attention. Bateman being fourth in line for targets is a disappointing start for those believing in a breakout from him this season. However, the Ravens have a more favorable Week 2 matchup with the Raiders going to Baltimore.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Back on the field
Bateman (undisclosed) returned to practice Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Bateman, who exited last Monday's practice, didn't play in Friday's preseason opener, but the wideout now is back on the field, he'll have an opportunity to cement his key role in the Ravens' passing attack alongside fellow starting WR Zay Flowers. Assuming he can stay healthy, the 2021 first-rounder could be poised for a breakout effort in 2024 while working as one of QB Lamar Jackson's primary targets.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Expected to be back soon
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Sunday that he expects Bateman to return from an undisclosed injury soon, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Bateman appeared to sustain an injury to his midsection during practice last Monday and did not play in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles. Harbaugh said Tuesday that the issue was nothing serious, and it's unlikely that he would have played Friday even if he was healthy, as the rest of Baltimore's first-team offense did not suit up either. Bateman missed 12 regular-season games with a foot injury during his sophomore 2022 campaign, but he missed just one game last season and caught 32 passes for 367 yards and one touchdown across 16 regular-season games.
