Saints' Taysom Hill: Compiles 60 total yards in loss
Hill secured four of five targets for 41 yards, rushed five times for 19 yards and a touchdown and threw an incompletion on his only pass attempt in the Saints' 23-22 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Hill filled his usual multi-purpose role and found his way to new season highs in receptions and receiving yards partly due to the exit of Chris Olave with a concussion in the first quarter. Hill also recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season on a seven-yard run in the second quarter, and he fell just short of reaching the 20-yard mark on the ground for the third straight game. The versatile veteran could see his involvement as a pass catcher remain slightly elevated during a Week 10 home matchup against the Falcons if Olave isn't able to clear concussion protocol in time for the contest.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Logs six touches Week 8
Hill gathered in two of four targets for 21 yards to go along with four rushes for 20 yards during Sunday's 26-8 loss against the Chargers. He also completed his lone passing attempt for three yards.
Hill logged a season high in targets during his first game back from a rib injury suffered Week 4. In his first three games this season, the 34-year-old was the Saints' No. 2 rushing option behind Alvin Kamara. It looks like he took on a bigger role in the passing game Sunday, as he tied for third on the team in targets behind Chris Olave (14) and Kamara (11). Hill's non-traditional role makes his production rather hard to predict, but his value as a rusher in the red zone combined with the team's lack of weapons should provide him some notable scoring chances when he's healthy. He'll look to make an impact as both a rusher and receiver during next week's game versus Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Logs full practice Thursday
Hill (rib) practiced fully Thursday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
This marks Hill's first uncapped session since he emerged from Week 4 action with rib fractures, thereby paving the way for him to return to action Sunday at the Chargers. Fellow TE Juwan Johnson (shoulder) has been limited in practice so far this week, so there's a chance Hill could act as the Saints' top option at the position if the former doesn't gain clearance to suit up Week 8.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Remains limited in practice
Hill (rib) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
Hill has been listed as a limited participant on four consecutive practice reports going back to last week, but he's still seeking his first game action since Week 4 in Atlanta. Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau have been handling tight end reps in the interim, but Johnson joined Hill as a limited participant Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. As a result, the statuses of both Hill and Johnson will continue to be watched as the weekend approaches to see if either are in danger of sitting out Sunday at the Chargers.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Not playing Thursday
Hill (ribs) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Broncos.
After sitting out Weeks 5 and 6 due to rib fractures that didn't allow him to practice in advance of those contests, Hill was listed as limited on all three of the Saints' Week 7 injury reports. In the end, though, a doubtful designation forecast inactive status Thursday, which has come to pass. Juwan Johnson and Foster Moreau will continue to handle the bulk of the TE reps while Hill is sidelined.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Doubtful for Thursday
Hill (ribs) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against Denver, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Hill appears set to miss out on an opportunity to take on a larger-than-usual role in the absence of Saints wide receivers Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee). Head coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that he's hopeful Hill can return for an Oct. 27 matchup with the Chargers in Week 8, according to John Hendrix of SI.com.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Listed as limited again
The Saints listed Hill (ribs) as a limited participant for Tuesday's walk-through practice, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Triplett notes that Hill wasn't on the field for the media-access portion of Tuesday's session, but the 34-year-old must have fit in enough work behind the scenes to earn a "limited" listing for the second practice report in a row. Hill looks like he'll have a chance to play Thursday against the Broncos.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Absent from practice
Hill (ribs) wasn't on the field for Tuesday's practice, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
New Orleans listed Hill as a limited participant Monday on its initial Week 7 injury report, but his activity level was downgraded a day later. He'll likely need to get back on the field in some capacity Wednesday to have any chance of playing in Thursday's game against the Broncos. Hill has missed the Saints' last two games while tending to multiple rib fractures.

Saints' Taysom Hill: Limited on estimated report
Hill (rib) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate.
Hill didn't practice during preparation for Weeks 5 and 6 and sat out both contests as a result of multiple rib fractures, so his projected activity level to begin this week at least is a positive sign for a banged-up Saints offense that could be missing Derek Carr (oblique), Alvin Kamara (hand), Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) on Thursday against the Broncos.
