Rams' Byron Young: Sacks Murray in Week 17 win
Young tallied eight tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Saturday's 13-9 win over Arizona.
Young sacked Kyler Murray midway through the second quarter for a six-yard loss, which forced the Cardinals to punt on the next play. Young is now up to 7.0 sacks through 16 regular-season games, and the 2023 third-round pick is one sack shy from matching his total from his rookie campaign. He'll have an opportunity to do so against Geno Smith and the Seahawks in Week 18.

Rams' Byron Young: Able to play in Week 11
Young (knee) is active for Sunday's battle against the Patriots, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Young had been questionable heading into Sunday due to a knee issue, but he'll be able to suit up against New England. The second-year outside linebacker will look to extend his current three-game streak of games with at least one sack. The Patriots have given up the third-most sacks (32) to opponents on the season.

Rams' Byron Young: Tagged as questionable for Week 11
Young (knee) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against New England, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Young was limited in practice all week due to a knee injury he likely picked up during the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Dolphins this past Monday. If Young is unable to play Sunday, Michael Hoecht would be the top candidate to start at outside linebacker opposite Jared Verse.

Young appears to have sustained a knee injury in the Rams' Week 10 loss to the Dolphins on Monday night, despite playing 43 defensive snaps and recording four total tackles, including 1.0 sacks. The second-year edge rusher's participation in practice Thursday and Friday will provide the best indication of whether he can play through this knee issue in the Rams' Week 11 matchup against the Patriots.

Young totaled six tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 26-20 overtime victory against the Seahawks.
Young added two quarterback hits to his third-quarter sack. He nearly had another sack, but it was wiped out by a defensive offside penalty. Young has recorded a sack in consecutive weeks and is up to 4.0 sacks through eight games on the season, half of the total he registered over 17 regular-season contests as a rookie last year.
