Giants' Timmy Horne: Reverts to IR
Horne (Achilles) reverted to injured reserve with the Giants on Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Horne sustained a torn Achilles tendon in the team's preseason finale against the Jets on Saturday and he'll now officially miss the entire 2024 season while on IR. The defensive lineman will now shift his focus to being ready for training camp in 2025.

The Giants waived/injured Horne (Achilles) on Sunday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Horne suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in Saturday's preseason contest against the Jets. If he goes unclaimed, Horne will revert to the Giants' injured reserve list. Horne appeared in 21 games for the Falcons and Giants over the previous two seasons, recording 31 tackles (13 solo) and two pass deflections.

Horne suffered a torn Achilles injury in Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Horne had to be carted off the field in Saturday's contest, and he will now be out for the rest of the season. He was competing for a depth spot on the Giants' defensive line, but his focus will shift to him being fully healthy for 2025.

Horne will not return to Saturday's game against the Jets due to an Achilles injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Horne went down in visible pain in the first quarter, and he was later carted off the field, per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News. Horne was a longshot to make the Giants' 53-man roster, and this injury will decrease his already slim chances at doing so.

Giants' Timmy Horne: Gets new opportunity
Horne was signed by the Giants off of the Falcons' practice squad Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Horne appeared in three games with the Falcons this season, after suiting up in all 17 last year. The 26-year-old has four assisted tackles on the season and should provide some extra depth on the defensive line with Dexter Lawrence still struggling with a hamstring injury.
