Lions' Carlton Davis: Sidelined in Week 13
Davis (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Bears, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Davis was estimated as a non-participant throughout Detroit's week of practice after sustaining a knee injury in the Week 12 win over the Colts, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. Expect Kindle Vildor to start opposite Terrion Arnold as part of Detroit's top outside cornerback duo in Davis' stead.

Lions' Carlton Davis: DNP on Monday's estimation
Davis (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimation, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Davis played 43 defensive snaps and recorded one total tackle before exiting the Lions' Week 12 win over the Colts due to a knee injury. The first-year Lion likely needs to upgrade to at least limited participation either Tuesday or Wednesday in order to suit up for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears.

Although Davis wasn't listed on Wednesday's estimated injury report, it's possible that he may have injured his hand during the Lions' Week 10 win over the Texans. His practice participation Friday will give a better indication for his status against the Jaguars on Sunday. If Davis were unable to suit up, Khalil Dorsey and Kindle Vildor would be candidates to see increased snaps at corner with the Lions' first-team defense.

Lions' Carlton Davis: Two interceptions in win
Davis recorded four solo tackles and two interceptions in Sunday's 26-23 win over Houston.
Davis came into Week 10 without an interception on the year, but that changed quickly. He picked off C.J. Stroud on the first play of the second half before securing another interception later in the third quarter. The performance marked the first time in the cornerback's seven-year NFL career that he was able to snag multiple interceptions in one game. Davis has now produced 47 total tackles (37 solo), two interceptions, eight additional passes defensed and two fumble recoveries over nine games in 2024.
