Davis was sidelined during the Saints' Week 4 loss against the Falcons due to a hamstring injury. He's good to go for Week 5, and his return to the first-team defense is sorely needed, as Willie Gay has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game due to a hand injury. Davis has tallied 18 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended across three regular-season games.

Davis has been limited in the Saints' first two practices of the week after sitting out last Sunday against Atlanta. Saints' Demario Davis: Out for Week 4
Davis (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

On the year, Davis has 18 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass deflection. Willie Gay and Pete Werner should see the bulk of the linebacker snaps for New Orleans against Atlanta.

Davis was hampered with a hamstring injury during training camp, though he's suited up in each of the first three regular-season games and has played 60-plus defensive snaps in each of his last two outings. It's not clear whether this hamstring injury is in the same leg as the preseason, but Davis' status for Week 4 against the Falcons will largely depend on his practice participation over the next two days.

Davis has been dealing with a hamstring injury since late July, which kept him out of Saturday's preseason opener against the Cardinals.
