Jazz's KJ Martin: Won't play Wednesday
Martin (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.
Martin will miss his third consecutive contest due to right elbow bursitis. His next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Celtics. Brice Sensabaugh and Cody Williams are candidates for a bump in minutes due to Martin being sidelined.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Out Monday
Martin (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bulls.
Martin will miss both halves of Utah's back-to-back set, and his next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Washington. Martin had carved out a consistent role, averaging 27.0 minutes over a nine-game stretch (eight starts). However, since the Jazz were fined for resting healthy players, they've had more bodies available recently, limiting Martin's role over his last three appearances to 15.7 minutes a night.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Not playing Sunday
Martin (elbow) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
Martin popped up on the injury report due to right elbow soreness, and with the Jazz playing a back-to-back set, he would also be in jeopardy of missing Monday's game against the Bulls. Micah Potter, Brice Sensabaugh and Johnny Juzang are in line to see their minutes increase Sunday due to Martin's absence.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Iffy Sunday
Martin (elbow) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
The right elbow soreness is a new concern for Martin, who has made 13 consecutive appearances since the All-Star break. The 24-year-old forward has struggled while coming off the bench in his last three outings, during which he has averaged 0.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting 14.3 percent from the field across 15.7 minutes per contest.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Season-high workload Sunday
Martin contributed 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Sunday's 126-122 loss to the 76ers.
The 36 minutes represented Martin's biggest workload of the season, and the fifth-year forward may finally be 100 percent after missing nearly two months due to a stress reaction in his left foot that he developed just before Christmas. He's started eight of the last nine games while Lauri Markkanen (back) and John Collins (back) have been on the shelf. While Martin has averaged a modest 8.8 points, 4.1 boards, 1.4 assists and 0.7 threes in 27.0 minutes over that stretch, he can find another gear if he can stay healthy.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Back in starting five Sunday
Martin is in Utah's starting lineup against New Orleans on Sunday, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Martin came off the bench during Friday's 117-116 win over the Timberwolves, but he will enter the starting five Sunday due to the absence of John Collins (back). Martin started in three straight games in February, during which he averaged 11.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 30.3 minutes per contest.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Coming off bench Friday
Martin is not in Utah's starting lineup against Minnesota on Friday.
Martin and Brice Sensabaugh will retreat to the bench Friday due to John Collins (back) and Collin Sexton (ankle) both returning from injuries. Martin has started in Utah's last three games, and over that span he has averaged 11.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 30.3 minutes per contest while shooting 53.8 percent from the field.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Pops for 16 in Wednesday's loss
Martin contributed 16 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 118-101 loss to Sacramento.
The 16 points were Martin's best effort yet since joining the Jazz. The fifth-year forward is already on his fourth NBA team, but Martin is being given a chance to carve out a regular spot in Utah. He's started three straight games with John Collins (back) on the shelf, averaging 11.3 points, 5.0 boards, 2.3 assists and 1.0 threes in 30.3 minutes a contest while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Scores 11 points Saturday
Martin provided 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-115 victory over the Rockets.
Playing in just his second game for the Jazz since being traded by the 76ers on Feb. 5, Martin was thrust into the starting lineup Saturday due to the absences of Jordan Clarkson (foot) and Collin Sexton (ankle). It was the first time Martin reached double-digit points since Dec. 13, and he was one of six Jazz players to reach that mark in Saturday's win. It remains to be seen whether Martin will stay in Utah's starting five for Monday's game against Portland.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Starting Saturday vs. Houston
Martin is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Rockets on Saturday, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Martin was traded by the 76ers to the Jazz on Feb. 5, but it wasn't until Friday's loss against the Thunder that he made his debut for Utah. That was mostly due to a left foot stress reaction that had kept him off the floor since Dec. 23, but he has spent the past couple of weeks getting his conditioning back up NBA-level speed. With Jordan Clarkson (foot) and Collin Sexton (ankle) both out Saturday, head coach Will Hardy has opted to insert Martin into the starting lineup alongside Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler in the frontcourt. Prior to his injury, Martin averaged 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.7 blocks over 19.8 minutes per game while shooting 61.6 percent from the field.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Cracks rotation in team debut
Martin (foot) tallied two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one steal and one block across 16 minutes in Friday's 130-107 loss to the Thunder.
Martin saw his first game action since Dec. 23, which came as a member of the 76ers. The fifth-year forward had been out for over a month with a left foot stress reaction, but he appeared to be close to full health before the 76ers traded him Feb. 5 to the Pistons, who shipped him to Utah a day later. The Jazz gave Martin some additional time to adjust to his new surroundings and get reconditioned before the 24-year-old finally made his team debut coming out of the All-Star break. While his production wasn't noteworthy, Martin was included in the rotation ahead of both Brice Sensabaugh and Johnny Juzang, neither of whom played in coach's decisions. Martin could see his minutes pick up in Saturday's game against the Rockets if the Jazz elect to rest one or both of Lauri Markkanen and John Collins in the second leg of a back-to-back set.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Available to debut Friday
Martin (reconditioning) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Martin is available to make his Jazz debut after missing significant time due to a stress reaction in his left foot and reconditioning. The 24-year-old last played Dec. 23 as a member of the Sixers, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he's limited during his debut. Martin averaged 6.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 20.0 minutes per game over 24 appearances with Philadelphia.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Upgraded to questionable
Martin (conditioning) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Martin is ramping up his activity following an extended absence due to a stress reaction in his foot, and he'll have a chance to make his Jazz debut Friday. If Martin is not ready to play against Oklahoma City, the likes of Cody Williams, Johnny Juzang and Brice Sensabaugh should remain regular members of Utah's rotation.

Martin (conditioning) is out for Thursday's game versus the Clippers.
Martin hasn't played since Dec. 23 and will continue to sit out Thursday due to a return to competition reconditioning. However, Martin will have the entire All-Star break to gear up for a return against the Thunder on Feb. 21.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Won't play Monday
Martin (return to competition reconditioning) is out for Monday's game against the Lakers.
Martin hadn't played for the 76ers since Dec. 23 due to a stress reaction in his left foot before he was traded to the Pistons on Wednesday and then re-routed to the Jazz on Thursday. The 24-year-old forward is healthy, but after his long layoff from game action, he'll need a little more ramp-up time before making his Jazz debut. If he's cleared to play in Utah's next game Wednesday versus the Lakers, Martin could fill a small role in the rotation.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Not on injury report for Friday
Martin (foot/recently traded) is not listed on Utah's injury report for Friday's game against the Suns.
Martin is not listed on the club's initial injury report after being traded to Utah on Thursday. However, the 24-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 23 due to a left foot stress reaction, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he is eventually added to the injury report for Friday's contest.

Jazz's KJ Martin: Re-routed to Utah
The Pistons are trading Martin, Josh Richardson and a 2028 second-round pick to the Jazz in exchange for Dennis Schroder on Thursday, NBA reporter Jake Fischer reports.
Martin was traded from the 76ers to the Pistons before being subsequently dealt to Utah. The 23-year-old forward should fit right in with the Jazz's youth movement and will likely compete for a bench role in the team's forward rotation.
