Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Keeps scoring streak alive
Avdija accumulated 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 127-105 loss to the Clippers.
Avdija continues to impress off the bench for the Blazers, and his role in the second unit shouldn't be a reason to avoid him in fantasy. He's been one of Portland's most productive players over the last few weeks, and he's scored at least 15 points in five straight contests while reaching double-digit points in nine in a row. During that nine-game stretch, Avdija is averaging 15.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Impresses off bench Sunday
Avdija finished with 21 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 137-131 loss to the Mavericks.
Avdija was one of only three Portland players who scored off the bench in this one, and the forward continues his strong run of play regardless of whether he's coming off the bench or starting. Avdija has scored in double digits in eight games in a row while surpassing the 15-point mark in each of the last four. Over that eight-game stretch, the fifth-year forward is averaging 15.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Back to bench Sunday
Avdija will come off the bench in Sunday's game versus Dallas, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.
With Jerami Grant (knee) returning to the starting five, Avdija will retreat back to the bench. In his last five outings (two starts), the 23-year-old forward has averaged 16.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks across 33.2 minutes per game.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Just misses double-double Friday
Avdija posted 20 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 37 minutes during Friday's 115-106 win over the Kings.
Making his second straight start, Avdija set a new season scoring high while just missing his third double-double of the campaign. The former Wizard appears to be getting comfortable in Portland -- he's scored at least 12 points in seven straight games, averaging 15.0 points, 7.4 boards, 3.7 assists, 2.0 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks over that stretch while shooting 41.2 percent (14-for-34) from beyond the arc.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Leads team in scoring Monday
Avdija registered 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 123-98 loss to the Grizzlies.
The 23-year-old forward scored a team-high 17 points while receiving an uptick in playing time following Jerami Grant's (knee) departure. Avdija has logged five straight games with 12 or more points and continues to make the most of his playing time off the bench. The fifth-year pro has two consecutive outings with 30-plus minutes, and he could see an increased role if Grant misses additional time.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Scores 13 points off bench
Avdija produced 13 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes during Friday's 116-88 loss to the Rockets.
Avdija co-led the Blazers in scoring Friday, as he matched Shaedon Sharpe's 13-point mark, but that shouldn't be a regular outcome for the Israeli forward. Avdija opened the season in a starting role but has been moved to the bench of late, but he's been posting slightly better numbers than the ones he delivered during his starting days. Avdija is averaging 10.3 points per game in his six outings with the second unit compared to the 9.9 points per contest he notched in 10 starts.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Coming off bench Sunday
Avdija will come off the bench during Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Avdija will come off the bench for the first time this season due to Shaedon Sharpe entering the starting lineup. Avdija has had a dip in production of late, posting single-digit scoring outputs in three consecutive games.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Efficient in limited attempts
Avdija produced nine points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), seven rebounds and five assists over 25 minutes during Thursday's 118-105 loss to the Spurs.
Avdija has produced an inefficient start to the year, during which he has shot only 35.9 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from deep. The 23-year-old has struggled in a new setting this season, and he has taken a backseat to the club's top options in Anfernee Simons, Jerami Grant and Deandre Ayton. With Shaedon Sharpe making his return to game action, it's possible that Avdija sees a decrease in playing time, and Sharpe could even replace Avdija in the starting five eventually.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Records double-double in victory
Avdija chipped in 13 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 106-105 win over the Clippers.
Avdija made some key plays during the team's second win, including a critical blocked shot that kept Norman Powell from putting the game away. Jerami Grant scored only eight points, and early results indicate a negative correlation between the two players. Through five games, they've played alongside each other without much of a break. Their playing styles are somewhat similar, and there isn't enough room for them to record good results simultaneously. Once the team builds cohesiveness, enough space could be created for both players to excel.

Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija: Scores 15 points with new team
Avdija totaled 15 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 139-104 loss to the Warriors.
If Avdija continues to excel, he may keep the starting job when Shaedon Sharpe (shoulder) returns. Sharpe should be ready to go soon, so the situation will be worth monitoring as the former first-round pick tries to prove his worth with a new team.
