76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Game-high 29 points in narrow loss
Maxey finished with 29 points (7-19 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 12-13 FT), five assists, four boards and three steals in 39 minutes of action during Sunday's 102-99 loss to the Magic.
The star guard led all scorers on the night, but he struggled to score efficiently from the field and was ultimately unable to give his team the edge in the wire-to-wire contest. With Joel Embiid (foot) remaining out, the offensive load once again fell to Maxey, who, despite his shooting woes, did a good job getting to the line. In Embiid's four-game absence, Maxey has averaged 29.8 points, 8.3 assists and 2.0 steals on 45.0 percent shooting from the field. It's unclear when the big man, who's listed as day-to-day, will make his return, but until he does, the offense should continue to run through Maxey.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Team-high 30 points not enough
Maxey chipped in a team-high 30 points (10-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), six rebounds, 12 assists and one steal over 41 minutes during Friday's 123-115 loss to New Orleans.
Maxey was excellent for the 76ers on Friday despite a rough shooting night from downtown, recording a team-high 30 points and 12 assists, but it wasn't enough to prevent an upset loss to the Pelicans in Joel Embiid's (foot) absence. Over his last 10 games, the star guard has averaged 26.9 points, 7.7 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.4 threes. With Embiid's status up in the air for Sunday against a Magic team that ranks second in the NBA in defensive efficiency rating (106.7), Maxey could continue to take on all the usage he can handle.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Leads all scorers with 29 points
Maxey supplied a game-high 29 points (11-27 FG, 3-14 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Wednesday's 109-103 win over the Wizards.
It wasn't Maxey's best night shooting the ball, which has been a common theme for him when both Joel Embiid (foot) and Paul George (groin) are sidelined, but he was still able to deliver a game-high 29 points to help power the 76ers to victory. Across his last nine outings, Maxey has averaged 26.6 points, 7.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 3.6 threes in 38.5 minutes. As long as head coach Nick Nurse keeps Maxey among the league leaders in minutes per game, the star guard should have little trouble being one the most productive guards in the Eastern Conference going forward.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Delivers game-high 31 in loss
Maxey provided a game-high 31 points (11-25 FG, 6-14 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 assists and two steals over 44 minutes during Monday's 109-99 loss to the Suns.
The double-double was Maxey's fifth of the season in 28 appearances, and the star guard topped 30 points for the fourth time in the last eight games. Over that stretch, he's averaging 26.3 points, 7.3 assists, 3.6 threes, 2.8 boards and 2.4 steals, and he's been especially effective at the defensive end, recording multiple steals in six of those contests.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Four steals offset weak efficiency
Maxey provided 14 points (4-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, six assists, two blocks and four steals in 32 minutes during Thursday's 139-105 loss to the Warriors.
On the heels of recording a season-high five steals in Wednesday's loss to Sacramento, Maxey collected four more swipes on the second half of Philadelphia's back-to-back despite scoring his fewest points since a shortened eight-point outing in the Nov. 20 loss to Memphis. Across his last nine outings, the star guard is averaging 27.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 4.0 threes. Maxey is shooting a career-low 42.1 percent from the floor this season overall, but now that superstar center Joel Embiid is back in the mix, fantasy managers have reason to be optimistic the former will improve on that clip as the campaign rolls on.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Extends impressive streak
Maxey accumulated 27 points (10-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, six assists, one block and four steals across 42 minutes during Wednesday's 113-107 loss to the Kings.
Maxey made his presence felt in more ways than just scoring, as evidenced by his six assists and four steals, though it's undeniable that he made most of his impact as a scoring weapon in a game where the 76ers didn't have Joel Embiid (foot). Maxey has been on a tear in recent weeks and has surpassed the 20-point plateau in his last 10 games, a stretch in which he's averaging 28.4 points, 6.5 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Puts up 23 points in win Monday
Maxey accumulated 23 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 125-103 win over Portland.
The 76ers had one of their most dominant victories of the season Monday, and Maxey played a prominent role in that outcome since he was the team's second-best offensive weapon behind Joel Embiid. Maxey is riding his most productive stretch of the season in recent weeks and has surpassed the 20-point plateau in his last eight contests. He's averaging 28.6 points, 6.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 41.1 percent from beyond the arc in that span.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Scores team-high 32 points in win
Maxey finished with 32 points (9-23 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six assists, one block and two steals across 41 minutes during Saturday's 114-111 win over Utah.
Maxey and Joel Embiid each scored 32 points during the narrow win. Maxey drained five three-pointers, continuing a stellar run from downtown where he's now converted 18 three-pointers over the last four games. He's also exceeded 30 points in four of his last six contests, with a huge 40-point performance against Charlotte as the highlight.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Spectacular Christmas Day display
Maxey registered 33 points (12-23 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, 12 assists, one block and three steals over 41 minutes during Wednesday's 118-114 win over Boston.
Maxey was spectacular on Christmas Day, leading all scorers with 33 points and posting his fourth double-double of the season by dishing out a game-high 12 dimes. The All-Star guard has been on a tear lately, averaging a whopping 28.9 points, 7.1 assists, 5.4 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 4.1 three-pointers in 38.8 minutes over his last seven games. As long as head coach Nick Nurse continues to put such a heavy workload on his shoulders in terms of minutes per game, Maxey should have little trouble being one of the most productive guards in the league going forward.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Near triple-double vs. Spurs
Maxey chipped in 32 points (12-25 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 41 minutes during Monday's 111-106 win over the Spurs.
Maxey took on a larger offensive role in the second half of Monday's game after Joel Embiid was ejected in the second quarter. Maxey was two assists shy from registering his second triple-double of the regular season, and he connected on five three-pointers for the third time in the 76ers' last four games. For the month of December, Maxey is averaging 24.7 points, 5.9 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals over 37.9 minutes per game.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Will play Monday against Spurs
Maxey (illness) is available for Monday's game against San Antonio, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
Maxey was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness, but the All-Star guard will play Monday. Over his last 10 games, Maxey has averaged 25.7 points, 6.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 steals over 38.0 minutes per contest.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Probable for Monday
Maxey (illness) is probable for Monday's game against the Spurs.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Drains five treys Saturday
Maxey had 27 points (8-22 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 6-8 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 126-99 loss to the Cavaliers.
Maxey was sharp from beyond the arc and drained at least three treys for the fifth consecutive game. However, and despite the 27-point haul, that was perhaps the lone positive aspect in Maxey's outing, as he went 3-for-12 in two-point shots. Maxey has scored at least 22 points in five straight contests and is trending in the right direction following a subpar start to the campaign, but the lack of efficiency remains an issue, particularly in games for which Joel Embiid (knee) isn't around. Maxey remains valuable across all formats, and while fantasy managers would welcome an uptick in efficiency, he'll remain a valuable asset as long as he continues to surpass the 20-point mark regularly while also putting up decent peripheral stats.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Drops 40 points in victory
Maxey contributed 40 points (12-28 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 10-13 FT), five rebounds, five assists and four steals across 40 minutes during Monday's 121-108 win over the Hornets.
The superstar led the 76ers in points and steals while tying Paul George for the game high in three-pointers. Maxey delivered a stellar performance from beyond the arc, tying his season-high mark in threes made. The 24-year-old also logged his second 40-plus-point outing through 18 regular-season appearances Monday. Maxey continues to string together impressive fantasy outings, and he should serve as the club's top option while Joel Embiid (sinus fracture) is sidelined.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Scores team-high 22 points
Maxey contributed 22 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 121-107 loss to the Pacers.
Although Maxey scored a team-high 22 points Friday, he committed a game-high six turnovers, with five of the giveaways coming in the first half of play. Over his last nine contests, Maxey is averaging 23.3 points, 6.2 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 2.8 three-pointers per game. However, the All-Star guard is shooting a career-low 40.8 percent from the field over 17 games this year with all the added usage headed his direction on the injury-plagued 76ers. With Joel Embiid (face) suffering a sinus fracture in this one, Maxey's efficiency may not be ready to take a substantial jump until the superstar big man has a clean bill of health.
