Dort has been ejected from Thursday's game against the Mavericks for a flagrant two foul on Daniel Gafford, Kevin Gray Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.
Dort's flagrant two foul on Gafford resulted in the Mavericks' big man being down on the floor for some time before heading to the locker room. Fortunately for Gafford, he was able to return in the second half. Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Hits six threes Friday
Dort chipped in 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-8 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Friday's 106-98 loss to the Mavericks.
Dort couldn't repeat the season-high 22-point output he delivered in the 134-114 win over the Cavaliers on Thursday, but he posted another solid showing in the second leg of this back-to-back set. Dort is one of several OKC players who might experience a short-term boost in upside due to the absence of players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (wrist), Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) and even Chet Holmgren (hip). It's worth noting that Dort scored double digits in five of his nine outings in January.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Erupts for season-high 22 points
Dort notched 22 points (8-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's 134-114 victory over Cleveland.
Dort caught fire from long distance Thursday, nailing a season-high six threes en route to his highest scoring output of the season. While Dort has started in each of his 39 appearances for the Thunder, his role as a strict three-and-D presence has limited him to averages of 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.9 threes over his last nine outings. However, the veteran swingman is shooting a blistering 51.0 percent from deep during that period, so Dort at least remains a decent source of triples and swipes for fantasy purposes.

The defensive disruptor scored 11 of his 14 points in the final quarter, shooting 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in the fourth to seal the game. Dort (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies.
Dort didn't play in Saturday's win over the Hornets after leaving Thursday's win over the Pacers in the first quarter. However, it appears the right ankle sprain was minor, and the veteran will return to action Sunday. Over 10 appearances in December, Dort has averaged 9.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks in 29.7 minutes per game.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Won't play Saturday
Dort has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hornets due to a right ankle sprain.
Dort left in the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Pacers due what was reported as a knee injury at the time, but he was able to return in the second frame and finished with 13 points and seven rebounds over 35 minutes. However, it appears he is now working through a right ankle sprain, which will keep him out of action Saturday. The severity of the injury isn't clear, but Dort could return for the the second leg of the Thunder's back-to-back set Sunday against the Grizzlies. Dort's absence Saturday opens the door for either Aaron Wiggins or Isaiah Joe to enter the starting lineup.

Dort was held in check for a second straight game Thursday after finishing with four points in 30 minutes Tuesday against the Bucks in the NBA Cup Championship. On top of a productive outing on the stat sheet, Dort helped to limit Luka Doncic to 16 points with six turnovers. Dort has increased his output on the defensive end this season, putting him on pace to return eighth-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 9.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers.

After managing only 10 total points and going just 2-for-17 from three-point range over the prior four games, Dort found his rhythm again Friday. Over 15 games in November, the 25-year-old wing averaged 9.8 points, 5.1 boards, 2.0 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.3 steals, but he shot just 38.9 percent from the floor.

Dort scored just two points (0-7 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added five rebounds, two assists and a block over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 109-99 win over the Trail Blazers.
While Dort failed to convert a field goal, the Thunder did not need him to as they received offensive explosions from Jalen Williams (30) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (28) as well as three double-digit scoring performances off the bench, which was enough to win. Dort will continue to be a key piece of the Thunder's starting lineup moving forward.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Scores 11 points Wednesday
Dort ended with 11 points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 106-88 win over the Pelicans.
Dort was the only other starter who scored in double digits for the Thunder outside of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, and he made his presence felt in peripheral categories as well. Dort plays a secondary role on offense behind the aforementioned star duo, but he remains productive and has scored in double digits in all but one of his last five outings.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Efficient 19-point game in victory
Dort amassed 19 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one assist across 35 minutes in Monday's 134-128 win over the Clippers.
The forward recorded his second-highest mark in points on the season while finishing as the Thunder's third-leading scorer behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (45) and Jalen Williams (28). Dort has been an inconsistent scorer thus far, though he has shot 47.3 percent from the field and an extremely efficient 45.6 percent from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old will likely be featured much more heavily in the Thunder's offensive scheme with Chet Holmgren (hip) sidelined indefinitely.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Stuffs stat sheet in loss
Dort notched 16 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Sunday's 127-116 loss to Golden State.
Dort has alternated double-digit and single-digit scoring figures in his last six appearances, but he could be in line for a bigger role on offense in the coming weeks due to the absence of Chet Holmgren (hip). Dort has scored at least 16 points four times already this season, and he could slide to the role of being the No. 3 scoring option for the Thunder behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Fills stat sheet Wednesday
Dort racked up 11 points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three steals across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 124-122 loss to the Nuggets.
Dort was efficient in his secondary scoring role and also made his presence felt with multiple actions on both ends of the court, registering at least two tallies in each of the five major categories. Dort should continue to play a minor role in the offensive scheme due to the abundance of scoring alternatives in the OKC lineup, but he'll remain valuable in fantasy, particularly in category-based leagues, due to his ability to fill the stat sheet in any given game.
