  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Out against Houston

Wallace (shoulder) is out for Tuesday's game against Houston, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Wallace is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, so he can be deemed day-to-day ahead of Thursday's tilt against Miami. The two-way player's absence Tuesday shouldn't have a huge impact on Atlanta's rotation, but more playing time will be available to Caris LeVert, Terance Mann and Vit Krejci.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Ruled out Sunday

Wallace (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Wallace hasn't made an appearance since sustaining the AC joint sprain in his right shoulder while playing in the G League on March 13, and there's no clear timetable for his return. The two-way combo guard's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Rockets.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Sits out with shoulder sprain

Wallace was inactive Saturday in the Hawks' 124-115 win over the Warriors due to an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder.

The injury has kept Wallace from playing since March 13, when the two-way player made his most recent appearance for the G League's College Park Skyhawks. Though he's since rejoined the parent club, Wallace is uncertain to be available for the second leg of a back-to-back set Sunday versus the 76ers. Wallace has made four starts for Atlanta this season and has played 30-plus minutes on each occasion, but he typically hasn't seen consistent playing time in games where Trae Young is available.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Hands out six assists in spot start

Wallace recorded seven points (3-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt), six assists and two rebounds across 31 minutes in Monday's 132-123 victory over the 76ers.

Wallace had played just seven total minutes over his three appearances with the Hawks since the All-Star break before he was thrust into the starting five Monday while Trae Young (quadricep) sat out. While his minutes were strong, Wallace's poor shooting performance and lack of peripheral contributions took away from the value he provided in the assists column. If Young is cleared to play in the Hawks' next game Wednesday versus the Hornets, Wallace will most likely drop out of the rotation entirely. A two-way player, Wallace can be active in just nine of the Hawks' remaining 17 games, so Atlanta may prefer to make him available on the occasions the team is missing a rotation player or two.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Starting sans Young

Wallace will start in Monday's game against Philadelphia, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

The two-way combo guard will draw the starting nod due to Trae Young (quadricep) and Caris LeVert (finger) being sidelined. Wallace has started in three outings during the 2024-25 campaign, during which he has averaged 15.7 points, 7.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals across 35.0 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Back with parent club

The Hawks recalled Wallace from the G League's College Park Skyhawks ahead of Monday's game against the 76ers.

Wallace presumably took part in practice with College Park earlier in the day. The two-way player has been outside of the Atlanta rotation since the All-Star break, but with Trae Young (quadricep) and Caris LeVert (finger) both sitting out Monday, Wallace could get some meaningful playing time.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Rejoins parent club

The Hawks recalled Wallace from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Sunday.

Wallace will rejoin the parent squad ahead of their game against the Grizzlies on Monday. The 26-year-old guard typically hasn't been included in the rotation when the Hawks have both Trae Young and Dyson Daniels available out of the backcourt.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Retreats to bench Tuesday

Wallace will come off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Rockets, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

With Trae Young (hamstring) returning to game action, Wallace will slide to the bench. The 26-year-old got the spot start for Young in Monday's loss to Minnesota, during which he posted 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and two steals across 35 minutes.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Productive in spot start

Wallace supplied 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Monday's 100-92 loss to Minnesota.

Wallace was recalled from the G League's College Park Skyhawks earlier in the day and ended up replacing Trae Young who was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Dyson Daniels was also a late scratch with an ankle issue, presenting Wallace with an opportunity to once again prove himself on the big stage. While he wasn't able to build on his big 27-point, six-assist outing from his last appearance with the Hawks on Jan. 15, Wallace was productive enough for anybody that streamed him or used him in DFS. Both Young and Daniels could be back in action Tuesday versus the Rockets, in which case Wallace will likely head to the bench and potentially move out of the rotation.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Starting Monday

Wallace will start in Monday's game against Minnesota, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

With Trae Young (hamstring), Dyson Daniels (ankle) and Jalen Johnson (shoulder) all on the shelf, Wallace will get the starting nod Monday. The two-way guard has started in two outings this season, during which he has amassed 34 points (13-31 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 14 assists, eight rebounds and four steals across 70 total minutes.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Rejoins parent club

The Hawks recalled Wallace from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Monday.

With Trae Young (hamstring) sitting out Monday's game in Minnesota, Wallace should have a good chance at cracking the Atlanta rotation, either as a starter in Young's stead or as a backup to Dyson Daniels, who could slide over from shooting guard to point guard. Wallace made his last appearance for the Hawks on Jan. 15 when Atlanta was without Young and several other key players due to injuries, scoring a career-high 27 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT) to go with six rebounds, six assists and four steals across 38 minutes in a 110-94 win over the Bulls.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Erupts in spot start

Wallace racked up 27 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists and four steals across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 110-94 win over the Bulls.

Wallace downed a career-high 27 points, tallying double digits for just the second time all season. The Hawks were thin in the backcourt, affording Wallace a sizeable role. The four steals also matched his career high, rounding out a prolific night. Assuming the Hawks are close to full strength for their game against Boston on Saturday, Wallace will likely shift back to a bench role.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Making spot start Wednesday

Wallace is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Wallace will make his second start of the season Wednesday since Atlanta will be heavily depleted in its backcourt. During his previous start, which came in a 117-116 win over the Celtics on Nov. 12, he finished with seven points, two rebounds and eight assists across 32 minutes.

He'll be available Saturday for the Hawks' game against the Heat and could enter the rotation if one or both of Trae Young (heel) and Dyson Daniels (illness) -- both of whom are listed as questionable -- end up sitting out.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Sent to G League on Tuesday

Wallace was assigned to the Hawks' G League affiliate Tuesday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Wallace was called up for Monday's game against the Mavericks, though he received a DNP-CD. The two-way guard has seen fairly solid playing time with Atlanta thus far, and he has averaged 4.7 points, 1.8 assists and 1.5 rebounds across 16.2 minutes per game over 12 regular-season outings.

  • Hawks' Keaton Wallace: Back to bench Friday

Wallace is not in the Hawks' starting lineup for Friday's game against the Wizards, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
