Top Aaron Gordon News

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Saturday

Gordon (hamstring) is probable to play Saturday against the Wizards.

The Nuggets continue to list Gordon on the injury report, but he's likely to suit up for Saturday's game. He's logged at least 30 minutes in each of the past three games and has scored 20-plus in two of those three outings.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available to play

Gordon (hamstring) is available to play Wednesday versus the Mavericks.

Gordon was being listed as probable, and now we have official confirmation that he'll be out there. Gordon is averaging 18.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.9 triples per game this season.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Wednesday

Gordon (hamstring) is probable for Wednesday against Dallas.

Gordon played through a probable tag Tuesday against the Pelicans for the front end of this back-to-back set, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, one assist and two steals in 30 minutes. It sounds like he's still not quite 100 percent, but the forward is currently planning to push through it again.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Green light to play Tuesday

Gordon (hamstring) is available for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.

Gordon is on the tail end of his recovery from a right hamstring strain that caused him to miss 19 games in a row beginning Nov. 22. He's been cleared to play in a fourth consecutive game and could remain in the starting lineup at center as he did during Sunday's win over the Bucks. Over his last four outings since returning from injury, Gordon has averaged 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 25.0 minutes per game.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Tuesday

Gordon is probable for Tuesday's game against New Orleans due to a right hamstring strain.

This appears to be precautionary for Gordon, who has now appeared in three straight games after missing time with the hamstring issue. Expect clarification of his availability as tipoff nears.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Strong line in win

Gordon logged 23 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-9 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes during Sunday's 108-104 win over the Bucks.

Gordon was listed as probable for this contest, but he moved into the starting lineup with a position change -- he operated as a small-ball center with Zeke Nnaji backing him up. Related to this, DaRon Holmes was a healthy scratch. Gordon is still managing some soreness in his hamstring, so a maintenance day could be on the table for one game of the upcoming back-to-back set Tuesday and Wednesday.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Starting Sunday

Gordon will start against the Bucks on Sunday, Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com reports.

The veteran forward will return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in each of his last three appearances following a 19-game absence due to a right hamstring strain. As a result, DaRon Holmes will come off the bench. It's unclear if Gordon is still on a minutes restriction, though he has averaged 15.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 22.7 minutes per game over his last three outings.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Will play Sunday

Gordon (hamstring) is available for Sunday's game against the Bucks.

As expected, Gordon will shed his probable tag while the club manages his workload after a 19-game absence due to a right hamstring strain. The veteran forward has appeared in three of the Nuggets' last four games following the extended absence, during which he has averaged 15.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 22.7 minutes per game off the bench.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Listed as probable for Sunday

Gordon is probable for Sunday's game against the Bucks due to a right hamstring strain.

Gordon was probable before Friday's game against the Hawks but ended up playing and posting 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists across 24 minutes. He's yet to play more than 25 minutes since returning to the rotation on Jan. 4 after missing 19 contests between Nov. 22 and Jan. 2 due to the same right hamstring strain he's managing now. That said, the probable tag suggests Gordon should be able to play and handle the same workload he's been managing of late.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available to play

Gordon (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks.

Despite Jamal Murray (ankle) being unavailable for Friday's game, Gordon will continue to work in a reserve role to conserve his minutes. However, Gordon should see an uptick in usage Friday night, so even with a minutes restriction, he's an attractive option in daily fantasy leagues.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Friday

Gordon (hamstring) is probable for Friday's game versus the Hawks.

Gordon should be good to go for Friday's game, and it'll be interesting to see how much longer the reserve role and minutes restrictions continue. Check back closer to Friday's tip for official confirmation on Gordon's status.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Drills two triples

Gordon ended with 12 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 114-110 win over the Celtics.

Gordon is getting back up to speed after returning from a hamstring injury, and he took another step in the right direction Wednesday night. He's scored in double figures off the bench in each of his first two games back and saw his workload increase to 23 minutes in Boston. It's unclear when Gordon will be released from a minutes limit, but Peyton Watson should continue to benefit until that time comes.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available to play

Gordon (hamstring) will play Wednesday in Boston.

Gordon sat out the second leg of a back-to-back set Monday, but he'll be back in action Wednesday evening. Gordon will again come off the bench in an effort to monitor his minutes, so while he should be activated in season-long formats, he's a risky target in daily fantasy leagues.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Wednesday

Gordon (hamstring) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against Boston.

Gordon is trending in the right direction after previously carrying a questionable tag. During Monday's game versus the 76ers, Gordon was held out for injury maintenance for the second leg of the back-to-back set. With Gordon expected back, guys like Peyton Watson, Spencer Jones and Hunter Tyson will likely see their fantasy appeal take a hit.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable for Wednesday

Gordon (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Boston.

Gordon remains day-to-day after getting a maintenance day Monday versus the 76ers. With Gordon out of the lineup Monday, Peyton Watson put on an offensive clinic for Denver, and guys like Hunter Tyson and Spencer Jones saw more reps as well.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Posts 20 points off bench in return

Gordon (hamstring) racked up 20 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes during Sunday's 127-115 loss to the Nets.

The Nuggets opted to have Gordon come off the bench in his first appearance since Nov. 21, as he missed several weeks due to a hamstring strain, though the veteran forward picked up right where he left off before going down. Gordon is now averaging 18.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 27.9 minutes per tilt through 14 regular-season games, shooting 53.3 percent from the field. Given DaRon Holmes' lack of experience as a starter, it wouldn't be surprising if Gordon soon made his way back into the first unit at center to plug the hole left behind by Nikola Jokic's (knee) absence.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Won't play Monday

Gordon is out for Monday's game against the 76ers due to right hamstring injury management.

Gordon's absence comes as little surprise after he made his first appearance since Nov. 21 in Sunday's game against the Nets. He looked sharp in the 127-115 loss, finishing with 20 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes off the bench. Though Gordon will take a seat for the second leg of a back-to-back set, he'll presumably return to action Wednesday in Boston.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Will play Sunday

Gordon (hamstring) is available for Sunday's game in Brooklyn.

Gordon hasn't played since Nov. 21, so he'll be eased back into things in his first game back with a reserve role and some minutes restrictions, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him skip Monday's game in Philadelphia. With Gordon back in the mix, Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones' minutes could dip.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable for Sunday

Gordon (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Nets.

Gordon hasn't played since Nov. 21 due to a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, but he joined the Nuggets on the road trip and is due back any day now. Sunday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so he may only play in one of these games if he gets the green light.

  • Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: May return during road trip

Nuggets head coach David Adelman said Saturday that Gordon (hamstring) could return at some point during the back end of the team's ongoing seven-game road trip, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.

Gordon hasn't played since Nov. 21 due to a Grade 2 right hamstring strain, but he joined the Nuggets on the road trip and was able to complete a pregame workout prior to Saturday's 127-126 loss in Orlando, per Winge. The 12th-year forward will remain out for Monday's game in Miami and is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's game in Toronto, but based on Adelman's comments, a return in the first week of January would appear to be a realistic outcome.
