  • Dodgers' Bobby Miller: Optioned back to OKC

The Dodgers optioned Miller to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

The move comes one day after another poor start in which Miller surrendered four runs on seven hits and one walk across two innings against the Marlins. He's managed an ugly 8.52 ERA and 1.77 WHIP in a horribly disappointing 2024 campaign. The Dodgers have not yet announced a replacement for Miller's spot in the rotation.

  • Dodgers' Bobby Miller: Struggles continue vs. Marlins

Miller allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk across two innings in a no-decision Tuesday against Miami. He struck out two.

It was another rough outing for Miller -- the right-hander's now allowed 17 runs across 11.1 innings in his last three starts. His ERA is up to an ugly 8.52 on the year with a 1.77 WHIP and 52:30 K:BB across 56 innings. Miller would currently line up for a home start next week against the Padres, should the Dodgers elect to give him another look in the rotation.

  • Dodgers' Bobby Miller: Another ugly outing

Miller did not factor into the decision in a win over the Cubs on Wednesday, allowing six runs on five hits and four walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.

Miller got knocked around early, issuing back-to-back walks, followed by back-to-back singles with two outs in the first inning. He would surrender two runs in the frame before then going on to give up two long balls between the third and fifth innings. It marked Miller's second consecutive start in which he allowed at least six runs, and he's now given up multiple home runs in five of his last six outings. The right-hander's ERA now sits at an atrocious 8.17 for the season.
