Marte went 2-for-7 with a two-run home run in losses to the Reds on Friday and Saturday. The Friday game was suspended after six innings due to weather and completed Saturday.
Marte launched his 12th homer of the year during the Friday portion of the suspended game, giving him home runs in consecutive games and four in a four-game span. Marte has nine home runs and 16 RBI over the last 19 contests, during which he's slashed .342/.455/.740 across 89 plate appearances.

Marte went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta.
Marte launched a solo homer in the eighth inning, and then added an RBI and scored during Arizona's seven-run comeback in the ninth. The 31-year-old went deep three times in the series against Atlanta and has now hit safely in 14 of his past 15 games. Long before Corbin Carroll's three-run blast in the ninth inning put the game away, Marte's homers in his first two plate appearances set up Arizona for the win. His two-run homer in the third was the game-winning hit and moved him ahead of Steve Finley on the Diamondbacks' all-time RBI list. He now has 481 career RBI as a D-back, which ranks third in franchise history. Marte is in the midst of a blistering 15-game stretch, during which he's slashed .345/.465/.741 with seven home runs, 11 RBI, two steals and 15 runs scored.

The second baseman was held out of the starting nine Tuesday due to flu-like symptoms and will sit Wednesday for a second consecutive game. Arizona has a team day off Thursday, which should give Marte enough time to get healthy for Friday's series opener against Washington. Jordan Lawlar is receiving another start at the keystone in Wednesday's series finale.
