Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Picks up four-out save
Chapman gave up three hits while striking out two batters across 1.1 scoreless innings to record the save in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Yankees. He did not issue a walk.
With Boston up two runs entering the bottom of the ninth, Chapman made things interesting by allowing three consecutive singles to Paul Goldschmidt, Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger to begin the inning. The veteran reliever then retired the next three batters he faced to preserve the win and secure the 11th postseason save of his career. After posting a career-best 1.17 ERA and 0.70 WHIP during the regular season, Chapman is a safe bet to receive the vast majority of save opportunities for the duration of the BoSox's postseason run.

Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Locks down 32nd save
Chapman worked a perfect ninth inning Tuesday without striking out a batter to record his 32nd save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.
The veteran southpaw hasn't blown a save since July 23, converting 15 straight chances while delivering a 0.90 ERA, 0.55 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB over his last 20 innings. Statistically, Chapman has put together the best season of his career at age 37, with his ERA (1.19) and WHIP (0.70) over 60.1 innings both being personal bests.

Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Records 31st save
Chapman earned the save Saturday against the Rays, walking one and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.
Chapman collected save No. 31 on the season, and he has successfully converted each of his last 14 save opportunities. The veteran southpaw is a candidate to bring home what would be second career American League Reliever of the Year Award, delivering a stellar 1.21 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 83:15 K:BB over 59.1 innings. Chapman has a 30-save season for the first time since 2021 and the ninth time in his career.

Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Reaches 30-save mark
Chapman struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Yankees.
Chapman had given up a run in each of his previous two outings, which is the only time he's been scored on in consecutive appearances all year. He bounced back Sunday to convert his 30th save, 11 of which he's earned since the start of August. The closer's recent missteps haven't done much damage to his overall numbers -- he's still at a 1.26 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 82:14 K:BB across 57.1 innings this season.
